Dear Parents:

We are handing out your child’s mid-year assessment. We have worked with each child individually to ensure we are able to confidently highlight their areas they are thriving in, as well as show areas where additional work is needed. Assessments are just a snapshot of your child’s abilities. Many factors can
come into play that can distract them from being able to show their teachers
what all they know. We value each child as an individual, and know they are all
learning, growing, and thriving.

Areas on the assessment that are highlighted or filled in are the areas your child has mastered. They may know these things some of the time, but we are hoping these are skills that we continue to build on their
confidence and ability with the remainder of the year. We use these assessments to help us build our one-on-one and group work activities to best serve your child’s needs.

If you cannot access the link and wish to schedule, please let your child’s teacher know and we will get you signed up. Please note when signing up which classroom your child is in. Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Thiel, and Mrs. Britton are B Room teachers (Under the Sea room), Mrs. Taylor, Mrs. Maize, and Mrs. Bales are A Room teachers (Wild About Learning room).  We look forward to meeting with your families to discuss your child’s progress this year.
